Presentation

I am Pascal Belot, I am 33 years old. I am the co-founder of Noïa, a company specialised in the sale of renovated properties. Our concept is to find, renovate and market old abandoned buildings, barns, houses, old buildings, flats etc.

We also have a construction company that offers to assist buyers with building renovations.

Your daily challenges?

Our biggest challenge is to minimise the time between finding the property and putting it up for sale.

In between these two phases, we take care of a lot of sometimes time-consuming tasks that slow down the process. We find a property, we value it. Then we make 2D and 3D plans. We calculate the cost of the work.

We are also carrying out an energy study since we have adopted global renovation. The objective is to renovate by providing economic and ecological solutions.

The challenge is to reduce the time spent on these tasks so that we can concentrate on renovation and marketing.

Why iMapper?

We looked for ways to take action quickly without it costing us too much.

Nowadays, there are systems in place. But they are very expensive and very complex to set up. If you are not a professional, they are not easy to integrate into the processes.

We searched the internet... And we found the iMapper which seemed to be an efficient and affordable solution that met our needs.

What was it like to survey before iMapper?

Before iMapper, our surveys were boring, time-consuming, tedious and stressful. We did everything by hand, with tape measures and rangefinders. Two people were needed. One took the measurements of the building. The other would make notes on a sketch. The risk of error is high.

Moreover, our concept is the renovation of old, abandoned buildings... So nothing is straight!

What is it like now?

The situation has changed dramatically. With the iMapper, it doesn't take two people. So now there is only one person at each appointment. Usually, you just arrive at the sales meeting with the iMapper.

You place the iMapper, press a button. No need to be focused and meticulous. No stress.

You can do other things while the iMapper is running.

When we talk to the customer, the iMapper rotates and he measures himself like a grown-up. The result is perfect. The measurements are right. We don't have to go back to the site if we make a mistake.

The iMapper website lets you focus on what's really important: the customer. It's great to be able to talk about estimates, renovations and sales strategies... without worrying about taking measurements!

What would you say to companies to convince them to use the iMapper?

The iMapper is a solution that meets a real need. When you are not a surveyor, taking measurements can be really difficult. This solution allows architects like us to work on very complex buildings without any problems.

When we survey with iMapper, we can be sure of getting accurate, reliable plans. This saves us a lot of time. What's more, iMapper is easy to set up and use.

It is a solution that is really affordable for the service it provides.

iMapper pays for itself very quickly when you consider the time spent on each reading (not to mention all the oversights and errors!).

In addition, iMapper offers a service as an add-on to make life even easier for professionals who do not necessarily have the in-house resources to draw 2D plans or to recut point clouds.

The last thing to mention is the  iMapper founders and employees' availability to answer questions and solve problems. It's really nice to be able to rely on their team.

So for those who want to save time without spending too much money on plan drawings, I think it's a really great solution.

What are the financial benefits of the iMapper?

The solution today is incomparable to anything else on the market. The iMapper makes 2D cuts that are just as useful as 3D plans by much more expensive devices.

The costs of a conventional 3D scanner are reduced by almost a factor of 10.

It is a one-time purchase. It works perfectly. I have never had any problems. In addition, there is a two-year guarantee, which is not insignificant. And the subscription price for the platform is quite affordable.

So for small structures, it's just as suitable.

To sum up?

I find it to be a complete package that works.

Practicality: It is a small, portable scanner. It comes with everything you need. It is very easy to carry.

Ease of use: Even for beginners, you don't need to know a lot. iMapper is self-sufficient.

Price : iMapper is very affordable, and quickly pays for itself in terms of the service it provides and the support platform that enables you to recut points, export DXF files for later use in software...

So I don't have much to say. I'd like to find some flaws but I haven't found any yet.
